Renew Our Rivers

Join us in celebrating the impact of Renew Our Rivers which began in 2000 as a grassroots initiative by Power employees from Plant Gadsden. What started as a simple river cleanup has evolved into one of the nation's largest efforts, with over 104,000 volunteers removing an astonishing 13.5 million pounds of trash from Alabama's waterways. Weiss Lake Improvement Association is proud to participate in this important mission, helping to preserve Weiss Lake for generations to come. Together, we can continue make a difference and keep our waterways clean!
