Fish Habitat Builds

The Weiss Lake Improvement Association collaborates with Anglers Unlimited to enhance habitats across the lake. These carefully placed habitats offer essential spawning structures and nursery areas which foster the growth and success of Crappie populations. By investing in these initiatives, we aim to promote a thriving aquatic ecosystem for anglers and wildlife alike. Join us in supporting the sustainability of our beloved lake!

Renew Our Rivers
Weiss Lake Cleanup

Join us in celebrating Renew Our Rivers, one of nation’s largest river cleanups! With the dedication of local community partners, volunteers, and organizations, Alabama Power has successfully coordinated over 104,000 volunteers, removing an impressive 13.5 million pounds of trash from Alabama's waterways. Recently, WLIA proudly participated in the Weiss Lake Cleanup on April 26, contributing to this vital effort to keep our rivers clean and healthy. Together, we can make a difference for our environment!
