About Us

Welcome to Weiss Lake, a stunning 30,200-acre lake with 450 miles of beautiful shoreline. Since its creation in 1961, Weiss Lake has been a vital asset to the surrounding community, attracting around 500,000 visitors each year and generating an impressive economic impact of approximately $250 million.

To ensure the lake remains a cherished resource for generations to come, the Weiss Lake Improvement Association was established in 1997 as a non-profit organization dedicated to its maintenance and preservation.
